Tooling
We develop and maintain the die together with your design team. A DFM review before the tool is ordered saves both time and money later on.
Die casting · CNC · Surface treatment · Assembly
Proal is a complete system supplier in aluminium high-pressure die casting. We control the entire chain — from tooling to a surface-treated, assembled and delivered product — in two plants of our own in Sweden and Poland.
Plants
Sölvesborg casts and machines. Wejherowo does surface treatment and assembly. You get one contact and one article number regardless of where the work happens.
The value chain
Follow a part through our process — from tool design to a product ready to ship.

Six robot-tended casting cells with clamping forces from 320 to 1,850 tonnes. Part weights from 5 grams to around 25 kilos, in recycled aluminium alloy.
Vertical and horizontal machining centres with up to 40 tool stations, plus multi-tasking lathes with driven tools for complete machining in few set-ups.
Blasting, tumbling, ball polishing, vibratory deburring and a complete chromating line with subsequent powder coating, all in-house.
Manual finishing, pad printing, balancing of parts with high rotational speed requirements, sub-assembly and packaging to your specification.
Inspection reports, traceability and call-offs to an agreed plan. Delivery from Sölvesborg or Wejherowo — or straight to your final assembly line.
Capabilities
Each one strong enough to stand alone. Together they are what we actually sell.
The foundry machine park allows us to produce parts from 5 grams up to around 25 kilos. Clamping forces range from 320 to 1,850 tonnes. All casting cells are robot-tended, which secures high productivity, flexibility and quality.
Our machining department runs both vertical and horizontal machining centres with up to 40 tool stations each. For efficient, high-quality precision work we also have multi-tasking lathes with driven tools.
Proal has broad knowledge of surface treatment methods for die-cast aluminium: blasting, tumbling, ball polishing and complete chromating with subsequent powder coating. Together with you we find the solution that best fits the need.
We deliver finished products, not semi-finished parts. Manual finishing, pad printing, balancing of parts with high rotational speed requirements, sub-assembly and packaging — all to your specification.
Industries
We supply customers with high demands on documentation, repeatability and delivery precision — across five segments.
Enclosures, chassis and load-bearing structures for medical equipment, where the documentation matters as much as the part.

Our products are cast in recycled aluminium alloy. Besides protecting the environment, it also makes for a better end product. Our energy is mainly hydroelectric.
We work to a management system certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and invest continuously in machines with a lower environmental impact.
