Surface treatment

Proal has broad knowledge of surface treatment methods for die-cast aluminium: blasting, tumbling, ball polishing and complete chromating with subsequent powder coating. Together with you we find the solution that best fits the need.

A powder coating line where aluminium parts on an overhead conveyor enter a curing oven.

The surface is the first thing your customer sees and the last thing protecting the part. For die-cast aluminium, choosing a treatment is as much about corrosion protection and adhesion as it is about looks.

Chromating and powder coating run on our own line at the Polish plant. Owning the process means we can adjust parameters for a specific part instead of adapting the part to an external supplier’s standard recipe.

Whether you need a matte technical finish, a high-gloss decorative surface or simply corrosion protection ahead of painting at your end — we produce samples and agree a limit specimen before the series starts.
