Anonymised assignments

What we have done for others

Three assignments that show how we work. Customer names are withheld until we have written approval to publish them.

All cases below are anonymised. Customer names, images and figures will only be published after written approval from each customer.

Tool transfer

Tool transfer from a supplier outside Europe

Challenge

A manufacturer of professional equipment had long lead times, high freight costs and recurring quality deviations from its existing supplier. The tools were in production but undocumented.

Solution

We received the tools, reviewed their condition, refurbished worn areas and ran sample castings against the drawing. Machining fixtures were designed in parallel so the part could be run complete with us.

Result

Series production in Sölvesborg with machining and surface treatment in-house. Shorter lead times and a documented process that can be verified.

Design support

Seven machined parts became one casting

Challenge

A medical technology customer built a chassis from sheet metal parts and machined blocks that were screwed and bonded together. The tolerance chain was long and assembly time high.

Solution

We reviewed the design with the customer’s engineers and proposed a cast housing with integrated mounting points. Wall thicknesses, draft angles and parting lines were settled before the tool was ordered.

Result

The number of articles dropped, the tolerance chain shortened and assembly was substantially simplified. The part is now delivered fully machined and surface treated.

Complete system

An assembled sub-system instead of loose parts

Challenge

An industrial customer bought castings from one supplier, machining from another and did the assembly themselves. Three suppliers, three stock locations and unclear responsibility when something deviated.

Solution

We took over the whole chain: casting, machining, chromating, powder coating, sourcing of the components involved and assembly into a finished sub-system with customer-specific packaging.

Result

One article number instead of several, undivided quality responsibility, and call-off driven delivery straight to the customer’s final assembly.

Got a drawing?

Send it over. You will get a technical assessment and an indicative price from someone who will actually make the part — not from a sales organisation.

We accept STEP, IGES, 3D models and 2D drawings. Confidentiality goes without saying.
